Well, we are having fun. My lovely Brides flu had gotten no better and she was coughing like crazy. So I took her to the local hospial immediate care.
They took one look at her and sent us to the ER.

sometimes, when listening to stories from you guys, I feel like I lived a very sheltered life

I had a very healthy fear of my father and disappointing him

    Still do to this day

Meh, I was off on a journey to find the true meaning of my existence.
It was not in the bottom of a bottle of local brewed Mescal.

    .
They brew it up local. Pour it from gallon jugs into smaller bottles. Go into the the canteena, buy a bottle and a clean glass(:lmfao:) or 2 and pull up a chair. When you can no longer tell what planet you are on it is time to have some grub. Then finish the bottle. Holy mother of all that is holy.

I remember drinking it with the locals once, there was all sorts of grit and other junk in the bottle. It was part of some three shot drink called the bandera.

    To late for that.....:):

Being a lone Gringo in those little canteena's could be a life altering experience. It was a true test. True to what I am not so sure but I am here.
When I was going to do something stupid I made sure I had someone who a bigger, meaner sort of stupid with me. Cue one of MrsG's cousins.
