Pretty much camped out in my recliner doing a little work and dealing with wife's laptop.

I went for a nice walk around the city, then when I came back to the apts. I'm told the elevators are out. So I climbed 20 stories. I'm to old for this stuff!!

We walk in and wasn't greeted by a hostess for 5 minutes. Then was sat and waitress was at the desk on her cellphone. When she finally made her way to us she didn't offer us any wine. Then after we ate she was rushing us out the door. Not one manager came in to check on things. So after we paid the wife asked to see a manager. Waitress asked why, wife told her to tell the GM to come out also. It wasn't pretty. People will be losing their jobs next week.

My wife is all about great guest experience! And we did not receive any. She holds people responsible. They will learn very fast that she sets the bar high. They rise to meet it, or go find another job.

Good for her. That is why I often avoid chain places when traveling.
