Done working outside and having dinner. Spaghetti and salad with bread right out of the oven. I'm stuffed. There were 11 deer playing in the yard while we ate.

I need to get stuff together for tomorrow since I have to leave by 7 a.m. to make it to church with my mom on time. My daughter is going to be here at 10 till 7 so we should be good. I just need to get all of my gardening stuff gathered up so we can just load up and go. Potato salad is made and ready to go.

Mid-50's here this evening. Feels cold with a tank top on!

The last WW2 movie I watched was Saving private Ryan and they had a French car from the late 1940's or early 1950 in a village.

1962 Is when it was shot.

Still not that long after the end of the war.I think they had generals from both sides working on the movie to try to get the details right.

Did you notice Sean Connery in the movie?? I think it's one of his early roles before he was famous from playing James Bond.
He's a British soldier on the beach.

It was a good movie with a stellar cast that had great reviews, but two scenes were tough to watch. Not a slaughter or monster flick.

horror and slaughter are different.
I do enjoy movies like that though over mushy love stories
