It's kinda funny how they seem to be ignored. When I had my first one I bought an expensive leather rig for it. llh has it now and uses it with his Shadow. Unfortunately, you have to really search for a decent holster for any of them. Let me look at the Blackhawk and get an idea of what you are looking for....brb.

I have a lot of time carrying the Serpa class 1 retention rig. Muscle memory with that holster. If I want to EDC the 97 I would like to stay with what I know.

I certainly understand that. I really could only see you carrying that to and from the range. Hard to imagine you picking that for carry over one of your 1911s.

I have been considering it for EDC.
It points up very well. I shoot it fairly well and will only get better with trigger time.
I want to broaden my field of vision.

I am surprised. I actually thought that you would be wanting to trade back by now. ;)

I do like the gun. It now feels good in my hand with the addition of the grip enhancement.
I do miss sweety but she looked good among her new friends.....:)

I have a sweet TRP now so the slot was amply filled. The TRP does need a bit of love.

As a project I think you should find an inexpensive 40B. Although they look more like a Colt than a CZ they are all CZ on the inside. Then you could take your time acquiring parts and really get into the gun's knickers and see how she ticks. You could do the polishing and tuning and get familiar with the fire control on them. Then, when you get her all tuned up and get bored with her, I'll buy it from you. ;)
