    Damn Sporty let you down.....:(

Yep. Fly home while dad puts it in the shop to figure out what was wrong (wiring in the ignition switch). Fly back out there and ride it home.

Dad did put it in a show out there and I won 2nd place in the Sporty division for a show I didn't even know about! :rockwoot:

I have had issues in the "Way Out" but with my skill sets I always got it fixed. Usually electrical but I did break the belt on the Dyna in the pic when we were in Florida. Doing wheelies 2 up in the saddle loaded down like in the pic is a bit hard on a composite drive belt.....:)

I fixed that at a hotel in about 4 hours once I found/bought a new belt. People we were on the road with ran it down and I walked over to a sears store and bought some tools.
Wife kept giving me the look. No more wheelies on that trip.

I have owned a built some stupid fast Sporty's. I mean stupid fast.
Back in the day a lot of club brothers would ride them. Very fast, light and nimble. And you can do crazy customizing to them. The peanut tanks were so easy to cut up and make into some AWSOME works of art.
