I'm so ready to get out of the city. Only been here 4-5 years, sick it of it already.

Born and raised here. Learned to live with it. Still ready to go...

Thanks CM. I'm trying to figure out where the coyote "rug" is going to hang. It can't go on the floor cause Lady (one of the cats) will shred the tail like she did on the one that was a full body mount. That one needs a new tail. She resides on the top of a dresser until we get her fixed.

Deer or no deer, I want to live there. Google "Lawrence Central High School" and look at the neighborhood directly south...my house is in that general area.

I have a spare room. Just don't tell Hubby I let you move in. Call me mom and you should be good. I have kids run up and hug me and call me mom all the time and he just shakes his head. The one kid asked me why I hadn't brought cookies. Of course, we were in WalMart and had no idea we were going to run into him, but he is one of my "adopted" kids from when I was sub teaching.

It has its perks, but the peace and quiet of home/the country can not be beat in my mind. I always forget just how dark it can really get at night when I haven't been home in awhile

I can't decide where I want to go. I want acreage in the country, but I also want to be relatively close to our church in Oaklandon and reasonable driving distance to work for me and the Mrs...Mt. Comfort, Fortville, Greenfield seem to be the area of choice, but i has no $$$

We had babysitters that refused to come back because they were scared to be here at night. No yard lights and we would come home to every light in the house turned on. I can't sleep when we have a full moon cause it is too bright.

$$$ is one reason we ended up here. When we bought the ground, it was $1,100 an acre. Now it is about $5,000 an acre. Still way cheaper than many other areas. We have to deal with a$$hats as CM calls them, but I can deal with it. Taxes have gone up a bunch but still probably a lot cheaper than many other counties.
