Hey CM, I told you a couple of weeks ago that I was going to see a man about a horse.
My horse came home today. I brought two guns home today.

Speaking of deer, who is selling my some jerky?!?! Love that stuff, but I'm just not a hunter

I have steaks, no jerky though. I'm not a big jerky eater unless I'm in the deer stand...ironic, huh?

I get summer sausage, steaks and ground meat mixed with beef fat. Plenty in the freezer for the year :yesway:

When I think about the meat, it makes me want to hunt...but I honestly can't do it. Yeah yeah...call me a liberal nanny boy...I deserve it :D

I felt bad (at first) on the 1st deer I killed...it kind of moaned a little bit before it died. I was sad. Then I got the meat in the freezer and the mount on the wall...I got over it. I was 15.

Never killed one. I've only been deer hunting 3 times.

    Liberal nanny boy!

    I... :(

I think starting younger is key. Hunting never even crossed my mind until about 18, and by then I didn't have the heart.

    Diet beer for the win!

    :+1:

Beam and Coke Zero for me tonight...Yuengling Light (99 calories) in the fridge.

    Yuengling

    Haven't had the light though

Sit very still and very quiet for a very long time in the right place at the right time. Something will come along. I've killed 6 or 7 over the years. There for a while it was every other year I would get one. I usually go out 4 or 5 days in a row around T-giving.

I went to Pennsylvania and did the "real" deer hunt PA. style. Took 1 with a bow.
Decided I am not a deer hunter. Not skittish, not sad just not interested.

Now, Coyote, well, that is another deal altogether.

Never killed anything with a bow. No experience with one and don't have one to shoot. From my stand, the last 3 deer I've shot with the slug gun could have easily been hit with a bow, though.
