was the neighbor kid. He was told, not a good idea to come a knocking after dark

Done with dinner. Laundry still going...washed all the outside cat blankets and took them out to them warm from the dryer. Lilly snuck out when hubby opened the door so now I have to see if she shows up wanting back in. I couldn't find her last night at bedtime and asked hubby if he had seen her. He said no. Went outside calling and finally heard her howling. She was locked in the wood shed for about 7 hours. She was sure cranky!

Nothing exciting here either Mrs. G. Just taking down decorations for me I think. They are still talking about the chance of nasty weather for early tomorrow so we'll see what the roads end up like.

Yep. We're not even in a remotely bad part of town and we answer the door for no one. Anyone welcome knows to call first anyway.

    I don't live in a bad neighborhood. I still don't take chances.

Had a guy come by one summer night, was trying to sell a computer. He was carrying no computer. Hubby was working second shift then. I had my carry gun on and a long t-shirt over it. Once the dude started making me nervous, I pulled my shirt up and set my hand on the butt of the gun. Never saw anyone run backwards so fast for the gate. No computer, no car. He stopped at another neighbors house too. She was home alone as well. It was like he had been watching and hit only houses that were lone females. Never saw him stop anywhere but mine and her place, there is 4 houses in between us.

That would make my spidey senses go off.
