    I was doing real good till I hit 50. Then everything started slowing up. That's when I first realize that I'm not invincible. Now at 54 I need to adjust my diet and work out. More stretching and cardio. Less sugar and carbs.

    I believe the sooner you start working out, stretching and doing cardio the better you will be when you're older.

    I saw a man who's 104 years old riding his bike the other day (on TV).
    He's a former Parisian firefighter and keeps doing his workout routine in the morning like when he was on the job.
    He does push ups and ride his bike every morning and his son who's 70 can hardly keep up with him. :D

    It's a good ideal/plan. I am pulling for you. I am 52. I have too many health issues for my age. I do what I can. My heart issues really slow me down.

    I've always worked out. I stopped a few years ago do to my schedule. But now that I'm retired I have more time. I can still bench press what I did as a kid. My cardio sucks!!
