I called 911 once when I found a woman dead in her van. Dispatch wanted me to do CPR. With the little medical background I had, I knew it was to late and refused. Dispatch tried to make me feel guilty, first officer on the scene assured me she was to far gone. I still pray for her family. As much as it shook me up, I am sure it shook them up more.

Yeah, that **** isn't nearly as easy as they make it look on TV is it?!?!

Funny related story: I was at Target one time, browsing the OTC aisles because that's what people like me do for fun, when I heard someone a few aisles down say "I'm having a heart attack." I grabbed baby Aspirin off the shelf, opened it and went to wear the noise came from...it was some jackass being stupid. I could have throttled him. Cost me $2.99 too...

You should have shoved the aspirine bottle in his ass and take the $2.99 from his wallet. :twocents:

to this day, instead of singing "Save Big Money at Menards"

My daughters try to make me feel better by singing "Find Dead Bodies at Menards"

I'm at peace with what happened. It was Christmas time too. Had gone in to find ShotGun shell Christmas lights. They didn't have them

Now I'm gonna have the song "staying alive" in my head all night. To keep me on pace for the compressions that's the way I was taught :lmfao:

Fun fact: There were 2 songs our instructor recommended to think of in your head to keep time with compressions...

"Stayin' Alive" and "Another One Bites the Dust".

Similar beat, but one is a bit on the darker side.

    Princess called me this evening

we talked for a bit, she "showed" me her Christmas present from Great Aunt Lisa (My sister) and then Mommy told her to say bye to Grandma. She said Bye Grandma, in between crying because she didn't want to go.. THAT breaks my heart
