I love chips and salsa

This is great salsa. It's in the refrigerated section, so it tastes fresher than the jarred salsas. Not spicy at all, but has a great flavor.

I need to stop now, or I won't have room for spaghetti tonight. :) I've harvested most of the maters, and now I need to make some sauce.

    Safety light is GREEN.
    Woot.
A Whole day with no accidents.

Unfortunately, Fairfield Works just had 3 workers burned after being oxygenated, then something burped flame.
1 dead, 1 not expected to make it. The least injured has 60 percent burns.

Wow...where is Fairfield? That is horrible. It is amazing that these jobs are so dangerous and people on the outside of those mills have no idea it is like that.

Thanks. Very sad. Deaths on the job are so traumatic for everyone involved. I have people close to me who have been directly affected and they still struggle with what happened.

I work with A LOT of people missing fingers/toes.
Arms/legs are usually outta here, except one stubborn lady came back without a leg so she could finish 50 years.

    Burns, they're usually gone.
I'd rather lose an arm/leg than that.

    Looks like money to me.
    Buildings about 200 foot tall.
The mill (Gary Works) is about 22 square miles.

    6 sections tall.
Yeah sorry if that sounded like a put down. I just meant it looks like hell because of all the hot stories you've told is about regarding that place. Very dangerous.
im with you though on take the money where you can find it!
glad your green light is on!

I agree. Hubby's cousin was burned severely in a house fire in Hobart a few years back. Ran back into the house to get his keys or something stupid. 8 weeks in the burn unit and then rehab and now on disability. He was in a coma the first six weeks. We drove back and forth to Chicago 3 to 4 times a week to visit him and oversee his care. He was divorced and only has one brother that lives in the area so we took turns so one of us was pretty much always there. I was so glad to not have to drive that stupid route and through that hell hole. University of Chicago Hospital is NOT in a nice neighborhood.
