Found a new Mickey mantle signed ball I really want. Problem is I have afew guns I've been looking for that will probably dry up. These balls (from his rookie playing days, so his sig is different and it's very desirable ) come up often. Decisions decisions!! I already have a few Mantle balls. But not a single signed rookie ball. Ahhhhhh I hate this

I got out of sports memorabilia back when counterfeiting got crazy. Legitimate dealers knowingly selling fake stuff killed it.

Yep i know your right. I've been buying all the guns on my list lately and I steel feel unsatisfied. I feel like an ungrateful prick. I don't know why I get like this. Before I get one transferred through my dealer I'm already working another buy. I figured maybe I need to change up my collecting for a while. But the gun market is ripe right now and like you said. Something will **** it up sooner than later and everything will dry up or double

Yeah man I rode though that rough patch. What a cluster ****!! That's why I'm VERY cautious on what I buy. I pay extra to have it checked out ahead of purchasing. Also I've made a lot of good friends who collect and a couple work for psa and jsa. I HATE a forger. I will call them out faster than anything.

That's realy what I've been doing. I've been buying the hard to find AK's and only fully imported ones. Except for my Tula krink

Hell, there was a verification/grading service busted back when that was going on.

Several actualy. Just because it has a certificate of authenticity you can't trust it. Gotta go with the big 2, especialy psa/DNA.
i like to buy mine graded and sealed by them. Sticker and DNA mark on the ball all match their database and cert.

I think my next rifle will be an old school yellow boy. I figure it will set me back, but I want what I want.
