Got my xtra high scope rings in the mail today, slapped my Vortex on the 308. Omg I have to say that scope is clear as nitrogen gas! Can't wait to sight in the glass!

Thanks again for the advice Sam!

I have been putting new thresholds in all the entry doors today.......:faint:

    1 is giving me fits.
Beats my plans, was going to change out the water pump in my wife's van, then went garage selling with the wife. Found a $20 40cf deep freezer, spent 3 hours making room for it. Then, mailman showed up with my scope rings. Guess I do the pump tomorrow. Lol.

I'm thinking of getting a XDM .45 Compact on Monday. Unless somebody talks me out of it, , , anybody?

Can't say I really know anything about the XDM series but my original full size XD45 has been flawless for more than a few thousand rounds now. Yes its big and heavy but that gun has never failed me once.

I owned the full size .45 Xd also. Great gun, very reliable and on target. But the size does limit the carry. I've heard good things about the XDM series. And the compact having both the 8+1 and the 13+1 kinda makes me want to check them out.

My son has an XDS 9mm. For a small gun it seems to shoot pretty well. It has the same standard springfield XD design, just on a smaller scale.

I can not say ya-nay to this. I am leery of any compact above a .380 but thats just me cause I am "OLD" school.

I have owned three of the XDs .45. Loved them until the recall. I couldn't stand the trigger pull on them after I got them back. Sold them all. Seems the XDM compact is just a little bigger then the XDs but with the 13+1 mag. I'll shoot one on Monday, if I like and buy it, I'll let everyone shoot it.
