Just popping in for a minute or two. Picked a couple bushels of apples so the neighbor and I can make more pies when I go back on Friday. Picked some for my mom and sister and for us too. There are only about 1100 trees unpicked. LOL!! I AM NOT PICKING ALL OF THOSE APPLES! There are deer tracks EVERYWHERE!!

So far it has been. Neighbor and I put together four pies this morning for the freezer. Hubby is back on the roof finishing his chimney maintenance/repair and I'm just enjoying the nice day.

Yep. I hadn't shared that previously because I wasn't sure how many of our former customers are on here. DB's family used to come here so who knows who else did. We closed a few years ago when hubby's social security kicked in and we no longer needed to work like dogs all day long. 22 acres of fruit trees. The last two years were very hard on the peaches and all 350 of those trees are dead. We mainly have plums and apples left. Plums got froze out last winter, but the apples aren't too bad considering we haven't sprayed in almost four years. I made him sell the sprayer when we closed so he couldn't change his mind. I have been gobbling up Honeycrisp for the last couple of weeks....yummy.
