    Take your hand guards off you can do it without the tool but it is easer if you have the tool, after you have the guards off just pop out the heat shield you can do this with a screw driver add the rail tighten it down and then pop your heat shield back in reinstall the guards! :D
    sounds simple enough. I dont have the tool so Ill wing it

    The delta ring can be a bear to compress down enough to get the hand guards off, and with my rail a biotch to get on because the overall length was just a tad to long. I had to grind off about a 1/32 of a inch for a proper fit.

    If you can't borrow a tool, having someone help greatly eases the installation.

    I think I'm going to get rid of my drop in rail and go free float, but I'm going to have someone do it for me because I don't want to mess with taking off the gas block and putting it back on.
