Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, I got a letter the other day from my tax guy saying that effective January 1st 2011, receipts will be needed for ALL deductions. Last year it was all deductions over $100.00. Now the IRS wants proof of EVERYTHING and will not allow estimates or approximations. I don't lie or cheat on my taxes but, I have not been saving receipts for minor purchases all year. So, I'm gonna get screwed but, I already have my shoebox for this year!
