I think you keep typing HK but mean XD but are in denial:): I like something in almost every brand line to be truthful.

I almost bought an XD... but that grip safety killed it for me. I got an M&P instead.

If I found a crazy deal on an XD I'd pick one up, then tape that safety down.

Besides... If its good enough for Mrs G, then it must be good!

I like the thumb safety. The M&P pistols are nice looking and I have this needing feeling for a Sig all of a sudden. I drooled on one for a while from 21st Century at the 1500. Actually, I am going to put my XD45 up for trade to get another XD9 here soon. That way I can buy mags for one platform instead of mulitiples.

As far as MrsG goes....I am nice to MrsG as they are where I buy my shotguns now:D

I even have my youngest daughter carrying the same model HK.

I looked this morning and we still have the single action Colt you were asking about.

the oldest went with a bersa. We've been trying to upgrade her but she doesn't want to. So we had Raven custom make her a pink holster this past weekend for her Bersa. :rockwoot:

I bought a Bersa for my mom a long time ago. They are actually great guns and a good price. I figured Gungho would be trying to get you all into 1911's being a marine.
