I missed all the old tv talk!! Does anyone remember the remote control that had a cord between you and the tv? Man I thought we were moving up with that, I didn't have to get up and change it etc for the folks anymore!! Still had to get the coffee though.

Long Ass day!! No Scouts because of weather and I am so glad to be home!

Speaking of old things. You remember the old console record players. We didn't have one but the neighbors did. We would play "Hello Muddah, Hello Fuddah" on it over and over. I think this is what theirs looked like.

Here's a link too in case the picture won't work.

The first remote I remember was at my Gramps' house. there was only 2 buttons on it. They like popped real loud when you pushed them. I think it was just channels up and other one down.

I remember that one. The one I'm thinking might have been for the VCR. Been so long ago I don't remember. :dunno:

Chicken, noodles, Whiskey and I really don't care if it is snowing!

Funny, I type better after the whiskey!

Was tired of the snow until I talked to my brother in Connecticut. They are up to about three feet since this time yesterday.

I still hate the 5 1/2 inches OF SNOW I got here!

    More whiskey.

Heck they had 3 feet in SB, now it is snowing again.

But whisky does make everything better.
