    We had Wane (15) and WKJG (33). WPTA (21) came along later.
    If you had a REAL tall outside antenna (Remember those?) you could get Kalamazoo on a good day.

    In Kokomo we got the Indy channels. Some of the people with big antennaes could get a few others. Dad, did not think TV was as important as I do. My Uncle on the north side could get WGN. I used to go over to watch the Cubs and Bears games.

    We eventually got those. They were big and bulky with few buttons if I recall correctly. Of course, you are going to also tell me you have no idea what a commodore 64 is or a TI-99a or an atari 2600 is?? Then next, you are going to tell me you have also never heard of the Mattel Electronics handheld football game??

    We never had a cable box that I recall. I do remember that the person installing the cable could actually just give you whatever channels he wanted by doing something outside at the box.
