Anyone have experience getting a car from another state.

What do I have to do for the car to be legal to drive back from Florida?

It probably needs to be registered somewhere. Them you'll need the title and that should be about it. Maybe a bill of sale?

Proof of insurance and a bill of sale.
you have 30 days to get a car plated.

No!! you are better off with no plate! rather than improper plate! an inproper plate will get your car towed and impounded! where as if you have no plate but a bill of sale and Insurance ID for that vehicle is good to go for most states!

Are you buying this from a Dealer? if so they will give you a temp tag for it!
