For a while catalytic converters were going for around $100, not sure now though. I guess I shouldnt have gotten everybodys hopes up huh!

I heard up to $100 or more myself. I'm not getting hopes up though. All I know is whatever I get out of them helps off set that $800 bill we just had to pay to get the Suburban running good again.

Thanks. I enjoyed driving it but was constantly having nit picky stuff to fix on it.

Are they rare or hard to find parts for?

You could always part it out yourself, it takes a while sometimes though. I've had buddies part out some vehicles. Usually they sell what they can in a month then call the boneyard to come pick up what is left.

PM me with the place you end up taking them, please.

I'll take them to OmniSource on Keystone because it's close to the house. The mechanic has to hold on to them by law for 2 weeks then he can release them to me. So around the 8th is when I can find out what they are worth.

Not that rare. I have parted out several cars and trucks. Just not alot of time anymore and way to many projects to ever get time to do it.
