Just remember at PW1, the 809 was 450 rounds + and going strong.
I think I'm up over 2500 rounds total on it now and should put at least 300-400 through tomorrow.

Gosh, I really need to get to bed, I don't think SE will like it if he has to reach over and drive if I snooze off.

Held one yesterday, thinking I might get one of them, the 740 will be a handful to shoot so I'm thinking 709

Yup, I'll have 2 1911's there. My springfield mil spec, and my kimber custom compact. Although the kimber needs refinished, they both shoot great.

I just cleaned both 1911's. The others are all in pretty good shape already. I'm finally going to go ahead and get ready for bed. Morning is going to come way too soon. And I've gotta swap wheels on the car before I head up. Would of done it this evening but dad had one of the grain trucks backed in the barn where I've gotta pull the car in to work. Time for bed!
