Actually I can shoot both eyes open with my holographic which opens my field of view.
Try as I might I haven't been able to do that with iron sights.

I close both my eyes and use the force, so far I've hit everything I was aiming at

Backstops are hard to miss

Oh I've got shotguns too! But with my silly little rifle I've got a better accuracy range and more capacity than you ;)

what does accuracy, range and capacity have to do with anything? I can eliminate any threat up to and including 100yrds just fine with a shotgun...capacity doesnt mean anything to me,if I've found myself in a situation that 8-9 shots cant take care of I'm a dead man anyway.:dunno:

My father in law survived two tours in Viet Nam and never had a gay scope on his rifle.
Besides, with the price of an ACOG, I'll just buy another AR!

That's because in Vietnam both sides was using the spray and pray method, there was a unbelievable amount of rounds shot for the amount of hits made.

I believe the only options now are 1 & 3 round burst.

I'd rather go up against a guy wildly throwing lead around than a guy with a ACOG ready to draw a bead on my forehead and take me down.

    Good points BM.

To extrapolate jclark's post... my super great uncle Joe survived the Revolutionary War with a musket... should I use one as well? I mean, it was good enough for him.

Technology improves. I want every advantage.
