I put the mineral blocks on top of the tree trunks.

The one I was working with is on an unlevel patch of ground and not cut level. When I put it on top, they'd knock it off and it'd roll down the hill.

One of my cameras is on a stump that is no longer attached to the ground. I need to find another place but there isn't anything else near it that would work and it is a great location for getting photos. I figure when it falls over and the camera is on the ground, I will be forced to find a new spot.

That is an option. There is a stump nearby but somebody has shooting targets attached to it for sighting in his scope/rifle so probably not the best spot. I don't need him using my camera for a target.

And just now I distinctly hear a prop plane overhead that does not show up on radar.

I got RMR installed on the pistol. Definitely going to take some getting used to. Finding the dot is harder than I expected. I just throw iron sights up and they are lined up. And my shaky hands are much more obvious with the red dot.

I put a red dot on a .22 pistol and hated it. But I like my Holosun on the rifle. The cheek weld makes a difference.
