I'm all for a range/gun safety course. I think 4 hours could cover it.

I always thought that the 10 minute video orientation was suspect as a true "safety" orientation that I've done at 5 or 6 other ranges (some shorter :dunno:).
I really would like to know that everyone in the range stalls has been vetted properly.
I've taken classes at Point Blank where there is maybe 4 or 5 people there for class and range time, and for range time, 1:1 would be the way to go for greater efficiency of time and directions.

It's behind me. It would be the closest range to my house.

    :wow: What a luxury!

I dropped Point Blank in Greenwood (about 25-30 minutes away and could be worse with traffic after work), b/c I found a much much smaller range at E Wash./Post Rd (Indy Gun Bunker) much closer to my house.

The range that I belong to requires you to take an NRA safety class.

What kind of class is that?

You have to take several classes here before you even get to touch a firearm at the range over here.

    Stupid accidents still happen.

You know you screw up bad when a rescue helicopter needs to land in the middle of your shooting range.
