    Kind of leaning toward Nikon again. I had one on my 556 and loved it.
    Nikon 4-16x42 M-308 Riflescope

    One of these days, I'm gonna have to pony up some dough to get a good 1000 yard scope for my .308. The one I have now is good but only out to about 350 or so with any consistency. That kind of glass usually ends up costing more than the gun but I know the gun is worthy of it.

    Check out camera land on whatever scope your gonna get. They have demos that are like new and never mounted (I know because I've bought a few) and they are cheaper than ANYWHERE ELSE! I'd highly recommend vortex over nikon. The last one I bough I beat the best local advertisers price by $100!
