Went to the range today.

I was having a little trouble with my AR. The round would go half way into the chamber and the bolt would get jammed against it. This happened with all 4 of my P-mags. Any ideas?

How many rounds did you put in your pmags?

General rule of thumb is to download them by 2 rounds

How many rounds do you have through it? My guess is more oil and just needs a ton of rounds through it to smooth things out. But I'd try downloading your mags. I load all mine to 28 anyway

MM, is there slop between your upper and lower? Where you loading mags with open or closed bolt? How is the paddle tension on your bolt release? Plenty of spring in your mag release?

Probably about 400-500 by now. I haven't had any problems in the last 300 or so rounds. Before that I was getting malfunctions because I installed the hammer spring wrong.
