I had never heard of Blackout Wednesday before. Is this an actual thing?

Wednesday before Thanksgiving, you get really drunk and apparently go driving since the PoPo is on the lookout today.

I'd never heard it referred to as that, but from my days working at TGI Friday's, I do know that both the restaurant and bar were crazy busy on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving.

I was supposed to go for my testosterone shot this morning but I'm gonna reschedule for next week. Don't feel like driving across town in heavy rain. My car really hates it and tries to kill me every chance it gets.

Well, a Hyundai Elantra Touring (little station wagon kinda thing) doesn't really inspire a lot of driving enthusiasm. Besides, with the anti-lock brakes and traction control, it's a nightmare if it's the least bit slick or wet out. Wish I could disable all that crap.

Morning folks. Went to get some lump charcoal last night and Lowe's was completely out.
Had to stop by Menards and found some 10 lb bags but very slim pickings.
Do we have a lump charcoal shortage now ?
