Oh. Are you saying Glock isn't a solid platform? That's what I heard.

Nah, seriously, he said if you have the problem, just use a stiffer recoil spring. Didn't he say a 4 lb stiffer spring in his Glock made a 50fps difference?

I think for most people it won't matter. When you're talking in the range of 1250 to 1350 fps, unless you shoot the same loads a lot, most people probably won't notice the issue as far as perception. Maybe for hunting purposes people might care more. I don't know.

Hey, I had to get my jabs in.
Like a dem we never pass up a great opportunity...:)

You are right most folks would never even notice. I can tell when switching to even a slightly higher power level in my 10's especially the Bobbed commander.
Th 6" is not quit as sensitive.

I can tell when I’m running remington ammo. I tend to smile more. It’s hotter than some but still not fully loaded. What adds to the fun is that the sound is bigger (not necessarily louder) and lots of muzzle flash. Big muzzle flash. It nearly always causes someone at the range to come over and ask what the hell I’m shooting. Well that part is a little annoying but the big sound and big flash makes me smile every time. I dunno. I guess I’m not growed up yet.

UMC green box is my plinking ammo and it is fairly stout for the money.

I want a 5" 10mm with a rail, similar to the Springfield. However, if I could get Dan Wesson to make a specialist in 10mm I'd choose that. I also really want a 6" 1911 as well...the budget isn't there for either of them, though.

My only 10mm WAS a Glock 20 but I gifted it to a buddy earlier this year as a thank for for his help. Can't wait to get a centimeter gun when I can.

Ptraci (the P is silent) asleep on duty guarding my bedroom with the genuine 80's Delta Elite I picked up practically NIB at an estate auction for $875. Everybody be jealous or laugh at me as appropriate.

10mm brass is much sought after.

This is true. For me at least. I know that when I shoot 10mm, I spend more time seeking the cases than I do shooting the gun. I've wasted 10 minutes poking in the weeds for that last couple of cases that I just know are there somewhere. Never did that with 9mm or .40.

This is me, usually with a metal detector. I sometimes find myself focused more on where the brass lands than on where the bullet hits.
I got lucky at a couple auctions recently and got a really good deal on a case of Corbon 150 grain (1325fps/585ft\lb) so they're not too bad, also found 500 rounds of Federal Premium Trophy Bonded. Can't remember the specs on them but they don't feel that "hot". So I'm going to be a little less focused on the brass for a minute.

The spouse is very crafty. She makes the coolest things from just stuff. She gifts most of her work to friends and even some ingo people. (Friends...:)) I brought home some 10mm casings from the recent Mod Christmas gathering. I left it at LoveMyWoods place and he brought it to me. When I came home with the bag...probably 100 in it, she snagged it up and started making plans for a few projects. Glad I do not re-load.

All of this 10mm talk got under my skin. Enough so that I picked up a Gen 4 G20 this afternoon to balance the 10mm side of the house. I still have a bunch of 10mm Underwood stuff that I don't like shooting through the DE that much and this will give me a reason to use it now. :):

My G20 is getting the frame redone by 5B Gunworx. I’ll post pictures when it comes home.

AllenM has my G20, at least part of it. Milling the slide for a vortex Venom red dot.
If you are a reloaded check your brass carefully when fired from a glock, look for the "smiley". I went with a storm lake barrel and have had zero issues with it.

    Well Yes + No....

I would prefer to buy the cheapest 10mm ammo just for reloading the brass before I would switch to 40.

Most .40 S&W once fired brass can be had from Free to $.02 a case..Top that case with a 175-180gr. Powder Coated cast bullet, with a GOOD shot of BlueDot powder, and you can have some strong loads VERY cheap..
