I thought we needed a bump. :yesway:

I was driving around in a red 427 Vette this morning. Trying to get the brake pads seated. Note to self: bolt on parts aren't always bolt on..... Pictures later.

    Just left the shop.
Bed is setting on the frame checking tire clearance. Wide steelies in the back and stockers in the front.
    Love the wide whites.

Is that pretty much stock configuration for the engine?

What is the net horsepower on the ol' dyno?
As far as I'm aware this one appears stock, I have no idea what's inside of it. When the factory rated them, they used numbers at a lower RPM for insurance purposes. It makes more than 425. At the wheels, I don't have a clue.

Pictures of that Camaro are posted up thread aways, as well as the 67 Corvette next to this one that you can't see.

Thanks. I went back and found them. It looks like you do good work and have a thriving business. Glad to see it if that's accurate. I'd love to stop by your shop sometime when I travel through Fort Wayne.

Yeah, but back then they were rated in gross HP. I doubt if it comes close to 425 HP net, unless they've made some significant enhancements!
