Yes it is. I can honestly say I’ve never managed to get ATF all over the ground. Coolant yes. ATF no.... So yes it was an experience!

roller motor starting point is home. Couldn’t wait so I pulled a valve cover intake and one head. It’s been sitting for 8years and still looks good inside. Time to disassemble and get it to the machine shop

Where in the heck has it been "Sitting".....
I will have the block tomorrow and on the stand tomorrow night.
Pick up the bearings and set the crank in it so I can mark the block for clearance.
Once done with that step it is off to the races.

it was in a garage on a stand for the first 6 or 7 years. Then moved outside to a open ended shed. At least it looks good on hte inside.

She really didn’t seem too bad to me. Remind her that this car could potentially be sitting there for awhile. That means you will also be around bugging her rather than working on or driving the car...May have to steal the funds and ask forgiveness later
