Good find on the LEO statements. I'll have to bookmark the page so I can read it later.

I came across a two-part PDF of the wife's "statements" immediately (and I do mean immediately) following the incident, but was, ahem, unable to post them at the time. I'll see if I can find them again.

Interesting read. She had no idea he had that "big ol' gun" and seemed to be scared ****less when he told her to go to the closet with their son. If he was involved in drugs, I don't think she knew about it.
