A nefariously crafted Windoze Update with a slow-burn fuse pushed out as urgent wouldn't bring it all down very long. Bringing North America down completely would be more easily accomplished by crashing the electrical grid, blacking out 100 Million or more with major electrical distribution equipment damage. A major piece of the power grid can go down in a domino effect causing damage to equipment requiring many months to replace - in spite of switch gear tripping to protect it. It's designed to handle localized outage, not a geographically widespread crash.

Who’s world? Truck is still trucking, water is still watering, mower is mowing, dogs and cows are dogging and cowing. Corn is growing.

The only blue screen I’ve seen all day was way over my head.

Has not had any effect on me. My life goes on as usual. It’s 7:40 and I just heard about it while watching “ABC world news tonight.“
