I miss grandpas prayers (dear Heavenly Father was all we could ever understand the rest was all whispered mumbling), i miss my granny who is 98 years old but had to move out of state to get better care from a retired aunt. I miss the time when a honest work ethic and nose to the grindstone was all that was needed to make it in life and climb the proverbial ladder. Instead of back room ass kissing and favoritism. I miss when greenhorns knew their roles on a job site ( these new kids think they deserve respect right away) when I was the new kid I was used and abused by the OGs and I wear that as a badge of pride now. I earned their respect plain and simple. These days they act tough like they just got out of pelican bay, and cry in the corner if you get on them. I miss being able to stand up fast and move suddenly in any direction with reckless abandon and not worry about throwing my back out for a few days. I miss feeling like the world was mine to conquer, instead of just feeling like a pawn on a giant chess board.

He can't INGO from work anymore and has had some computer issues I think. I see him on FB sometimes though so he is still okay.
