In another thread it got me thinking so I'll ask it since I don't know and sure other people are wondering too. To those of us who absolutely love bacon and the fact bacon is mentioned in about every thread. Why don't one of the "original" INGO'ers explain to us (newer members) the history of BACON here on INGO.

huh definately good to know the bacon obsession is strong here. Personally I love bacon tons...would try almost any bacon concotion that you could come up with.

The Brits don't have normal bacon like we have. It's country ham type stuff. Not bad, but not bacon.

I'm gonna have to get another package of bacon out of the freezer to thaw in the fridge before I go to bed. I feel bad that I had smoked sausage this morning instead of my usual bacon just cause I didnt' have any thawed out.... I"m going to have to remedy that tomorrow and eat twice as much as normal!!

hmmm just had a thought. I wonder how my bbq pulled pork recipe would taste with some bacon in it as well? What do you guys think?

the best mashed taters are the loaded ones from applebeas which of course have BACON!!
