We all knew it was coming. I think that's the deal struck. The FBI gets to publish the facts, in exchange they recommend no prosecution.

This should normally sink any presidential bid. Even by Democratic Party standards. But people will hold their noses and vote for a criminal because they think the con man is worse.

Or, maybe a lot more centrist Democrats with a conscience will give the Douchebag another look.

Disappointing, but ultimately unsurprising. Right leaning groups get targeted by agents of government for no more than exercising their First Amendment rights. A Presidential Candidate violates federal laws, willfully puts national security at risk, and is allowed to skate.
