I lived in the arrow head between Silver bay and Two Harbors for bout 5 years. You betcha it was an ajustment. Uff da, it was like being catty corner from anyhow.
Summer was...different.



I do miss the meat market and meat raffles. You could get meat from almost any game or fish at the meat market(Ojibawa run)just south of Two Harbors, and the smoked salmon was the best salmon I ever had. We ate it often. Oh,and two local bars served Beefalo(Bison/angus breed) burgers from locally raised stock(was always a big deal which kid/family won the top prize at the 4h that year).
