BTW, I thought the meme was hilarious because of it’s capture of the underlying truth.
Reminds me of a street near where I grew up that had both a "One Way" and "No Outlet" sign.
I always pictured a mass of abandoned cars piled up down at the end of the street. I never even dared to try and actually drive down it.
Well, not really.
I got a ticket for parking too near a fire hydrant. I paid it.
I called Public Works and informed them that there was no yellow curb by the fire hydrant. It was ten feet back from the curb and easy to not notice. PW came out and marked the curb.
A week later I was ticketed for parking in front of the same fire hydrant. I was past the painted yellow line and took my prior paid ticket, informed the judge that I had had PW paint the curb and still got ticketed. She threw it out.
Most judges have common sense.
