I think the joke is being ignored by the one who has to approve your leave while you're asking for it. The same way Joe is being ignored by the guy he wants to ask to vote for him.

Perhaps, but it’s like saying that everyone in the trailer park is a booger eating moron just because those are the ones on TV whenever something happens. More like the media seek out the stereotypes they want to promote.

With that said, I’m not sure that those two could find the boogers with a road map, flashlight, and a paid trail guide.
