I had to stop scrolling/scanning thru that article, as my brain cells were beginning to atrophy and die.

Knowing the origins adds nothing.

The meme itself, well executed, I find them funny.

It's a screaming emotional woman (redundant?) with a firmly held opinion based on not much or nothing.

It's a hissing cat (don't get the "confused" label in the article) that doesn't care about your emotions speaking the unacceptable truth.

It's funny.

Dead on. I have had many cats and that cat is not confused at all. He knows what he's about, and he ain't puttin' up with her scat.

BTW, that white cat's name is Smudge. I have a cat named Smudge, but he's solid black. I'm sure that means something but no idea what.

I have been hesitant to ask because it will reveal just how out of touch I am. However, there seem to be an incessant stream of memes lately featuring whoever those ladies are and that cat at a dinner table. Can somebody explain to me who/what the heck they are and what the joke is?

He's stopped it pretty good, usually the propeller windmills. Looking at it again it's three bladed so he must have it feathered.

I am sure they used locally sources, non-GMO, organic, paint bought from a minority-owned business that pays $15 / hr minimum, and donates all profits to an overseas charity (that they visit 2x per year on their private yacht).
