Since I am not able to work, I watch way to much TV and every other commercial is AARP and Ambulance chasing/bankruptcy lawyers.

My life is filled with disgust.

Seriously, I like what I do. It’s mentally tiring and, at times, long hours, but there is variety, responsibility and, I’m not going to lie, decent compensation and a flexible schedule. A this point, I don’t have a boss and I can come and go as I please....because I have proven that I will do good work and produce.

It’s not for everyone, and the first several years are hard work for less money than you thought, but if you get into a good place, it eventually pays off in several ways.

That being said- none of my kids seem headed that way, but who knows? I did not come from a family of lawyers.

...and I hate ambulance chaser attorneys too. One guy in the NWI area runs commercials during morning news and says something about the best reward being getting justice for his clients. He is highly successful in $$, but he is a ...I don’t know how to keep this family friendly. I don’t feel that about all PI attorneys, I get that side of the profession, but this guy can’t be trusted and would run over his own mother just to make an uninsured motorist claim for her estate and take 40% for settlement before trial and 50% if it goes to trial (and even more if there is an appeal).

I just saw a documentary called "widows" where he was married to and having sex with a black girl (even had a kid!) so I don't believe these stories anyhow.

Although, he did screw her over at the end of the documentary so now I'm not sure...

I hope if I ever mess up and get nailed by both hot wires on a 220 circuit, and she finds me on the floor with no pulse she'll start CPR.
