    I think it is the thickness of the books and their description. "In depth" should be a bigger book than "in a nutshell". But yes, C Sharp is used in .net.

    C# is a Microsoft .NET language. I was poking fun at Microsoft for being non-intuitive even though the books aren't published by Microsoft. You work with Microsoft stuff enough and you lose your intuition.

    I sent the photo to my kids... they thought it hit a little too close to home.

    Between laughs, I was thinking that there are families where that list isn't that far from reality.

    It would be interesting to know what percentage of kids became strong and capable and responsible when required to complete tasks that were too advanced for them, and what percentage were broken by it.

    I attribute a lot of my ability to the fact that when and where I grew up we had very little oversight. We were in the woods climbing trees, in the swamps catching snapper turtles and building forts, under ground, above ground and far above ground.

    Yes. And the ones who went about this and were dumb were culled from the herd. Today, they survive to adulthood and become snowflakes.;)
