    What kind of :bs: is that sign behind her? Have never seen that crap at a range before.

    When I was a teenager, I remember being at a big outdoor store (something like Cabelas) in the Chicago area that had a range. The people who brought in man silhouette targets had to rip the targets heads off. I don't remember why though.

    Another possible reason is if you aim at the head, your angle might be high, depending on how tall you are. The bullets could hit higher on the backstop than the range wants. When we had out machine gun shoot up here last year, the range requested no head shoots either due to the possibility of shots going high.
