That's why the meme/poster was so funny -- because it's true.

I used to question why I was in trouble for either doing something or not doing the same exact thing, but I then remembered that we have our rules (determined by them) and they have their rules (determined by them) and there is no overlap unless they decide there is. Or not. And of course the rules are not made known until they are broken and can change at any time without notice.

Yeah, the "Front Fell off" sketch has been around quite a while, and usually is a defacto response on a lot of forums when opining as to the potential cause of an accident, be it aviation, naval, or motor vehicle related. Double bonus points when the front did actually fall off said form of transportation.
