Though we did try to order a deck gun. To be funny. And see how far up the chain it would go.

I did not serve in the military. But on the topic of submarines, my nephew is career Navy, and I had the honor to go to KITSAP Naval Base in October to see the CoC ceremony in which he took command of the Ohio Class USS Nebraska, SSBN 739. It was the experience of a lifetime for me, especially getting to tour the sub (2 football fields long). I will never forget that.

Glad you took the tour. Ohio's are the biggest we have.
I've known people that get to the hatch, freak out and say they can't go down the ladder.
