LOL.............. I got a buddy like this one time while in a boat, I had a new Rapala hung up and didn't want to lose it.
Pulled free and you could hear it hissing through the air. SMACK!! Stuck right in his calf. The barbs didn't dig in.

My brother was fiddling around with a rapala one time and get a treble hook stuck in the end of his thumb. Lucky for him I watched fishing shows day and night at the time and just saw an episode where they showed you how to get a hook out with fishing line. Worked like a charm.

Small background for those who don't recognize the device.. Oculus Rift, a fairly new to the game virtual reality headset. The tv in front of him is displaying what he is seeing through the headset, and the headphones are designed to block outside noise to isolate him inside the simulation.
