i agree he's not an important person, but to say he has no intelligent fan base, has no talent, no meaningful lyrics, no valid emotions, or a reason to be making music is not true.

Music is subjective, talent is subjective. I would much rather listen to Lil Wayne than listen to country music where someone is talking about drinking/wife leaving/dog dying/etc.

I'd prefer music that doesn't objectify women, glorify violence, and degrade people that don't have 7 figures in the bank. But I don't like country either.
