My first job was installing the computers in-store for one of the major auto part store brands and even then it's really not that hard. It's all just drill-down menus exactly like their website for self-service parts searches. And that was in the early 90s!!

Yes, in basic training my drill sergeant said we were out of butt-plate screws for our M1911A1 pistols and sent me to the next company to get a couple. I just went along with it and even went to a second company and asked them. It was more fun than whatever my company was doing then.
