Thanks for checking. I think BA had a stainless in his. The next time I see him in here I'll try to remember to ask him about it.
As a former owner of that gun, i don’t believe it had stainless either. I just went through my photos, but couldn’t find any pics that show the guide rod.

It is complicated too. For example, the GMC/Chevy trucks assembled a few minutes from my house are 77th and 85th on this Made in America list. WTH?

My dad retired from GM. They made parts for the trucks as his plant in indy. GM truck & Bus.
There was a reason he and most of his work buddys started buying and driving Fords. GM was going downhill. And still is at the bottom of the barrel on quality imo.
    I'll buy Jap or ford.

    LOL.
Yeah I've always thought of Chrysler dodge as the very bottom, including when they bought jeep and turned them into pieces of crap.
But dodge is starting to come back atleast with their trucks
Next time you ride with me, your sitting in the bed of the truck on a Pelican case. No more heated or air conditioned leather for you.

Hey. I have a Jeep. Sort of.

I’ve only had a few pieces fall off, so far.
For people who buy new with good warranties I guess it doesn't really matter much what brand you buy.
Chevy makes some bad ass trucks. I love the look of them. But i would never trust any of them if i bought it just because what's been put in my head over the years
