    Or a Thompson. Never shot an original Thompson. Mouse can go cowboy and I’ll go gangster.

    I have two, a 1928, the model that can use a drum and has a vertical front grip and an M1 like you see in most WW2 pictures. There's a fair amount of variation in both models.

    I remember Vic Morrow sporting a Thompson in Combat!

    He carried a 1928 with a horizontal fore grip. That would have been an early version in WW2, still using the Blish lock. After the war department has AO let subcontracts, Savage arms insists on a complete redesign doing away with the Blish system to save machining time. My M1 is one of the first Savage guns built.

    I believe the answer to both is yes. Maansmit brought a Tavor to the Snow Gala, and I believe Packindy had a Scar17 at the same event. I believe there might be another 17 in the group.

    Not seen or heard from maansmit since the Snowmageden event. And we all know where Pac is now.

    Pac bought me Sheriff edition 1911.

    Exercising the 32-40s on the 100 yard plate today after some sinus cleaning chili. Getting the Lightnings out next.
